**Bhubaneswar: ** A video is doing rounds in social media in which the recently inducted BJP member Aparajita Sarangi is seen talking about the infighting among the BJP party workers and the growing groupism among the party leadership in the State.
In the video, Aparajita is seen giving a talk to the party workers. It seems that she is trying to control the growing discontent among them by imbibing a sense of duty rather towards the political party as a whole and not a single leader (presumably talking about BJP’s Odisha poster boy and Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan).
In this clipping, it can be observed by her discourse that the infighting with the BJP in Odisha is growing up, which could affect the party’s position badly in the coming parliamentary polls. It seems that she is pointing out some local leaders are allegedly keeping their own interests supreme over the general welfare of the party for which she is heard warning the party activists not to fall into the trap.
Aparajita also seems to rebuke the workers of the party to mend their ways and work for the national party, not any particular leader or group within the party.
From the video clipping, it can also be assumed that there is faction within the party in the State and the party workers seem to have no co-ordination with each other.
This video also seems to corroborate the fact that the party organisation in Odisha has become weak and vulnerable just before the parliamentary election and the ex-IAS officer Aparajita Sarangi is using her oratory skills to unite and bind them which would mend the rift between the activists within the party before the 2019 parliamentary polls.
