Balasore: In broad daylight, bike-borne armed miscreants allegedly looted over Rs 8 lakh from the Barungadia branch of Bank of Baroda under Basta police limits in Balasore district today.
According to reports, eight weapon-carrying miscreants who came on motorcycles terrorized bank employees and customers and decamped with over Rs 8 lakh.
Before looting the money, the miscreants snapped the CCTV connection of the bank. Two of the miscreants were wearing masks over their faces.
The miscreants locked the employees and customers inside the bank from outside before decamping. They were speaking in Bengali.
