Bhubaneswar: In broad daylight robbery, an unidentified man looted Rs 2.86 lakh in cash at gunpoint from the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), Kalarahanga Branch located in Nandan Vihar area under Infocity Police Station limits of Bhubaneswar today.
As per preliminary reports, an unidentified man armed with a gun allegedly entered the bank at around 3.40 PM and looted the amount from the woman cashier on duty by pointing a gun at her.
A complaint has been lodged at the Infocity Police Station by the bank authorities.
Police said the matter is under investigation and they are examining the CCTV footage of the bank.
