Armed Robbery In Sundargarh: Cash And Gold Ornaments Looted At Gun Point

Sundargarh: A daring armed robbery took place in Kandabahal village under Sadar police station in Sundargarh district.

A group of 6-8 miscreants, wearing black clothes, entered the house of Pradeep Patel at night and tied up the family members. The robbers beat up the occupants and looted cash and gold ornaments worth a significant amount.

According to reports, the robbers made off with around Rs 1.5 lakh in cash and gold ornaments weighing around 100 grams. The incident occurred when the family members were held captive, and the robbers escaped through the back side of the house.

A special team, including the Additional SP, SDPO, and Sadar police station officials, along with a scientific team and dog squad, reached the spot and launched an investigation. SDPO Nirmal Nayak said that all evidence is being collected, and the case will be cracked soon.

The police have intensified the probe, and efforts are underway to apprehend the culprits
