Around 100 To 120 Maoists Active In Odisha: CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar: Around 100 to 120 Maoists are currently active in the state, as informed by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in the state assembly on Monday.

In a written response to Khurda MLA Prasanta Kumar Jagadev, CM Majhi clarified that while the goal is to eliminate Naxals from the country by March 2026, approximately 100 to 120 Naxals are still operating within the state.

The Chief Minister further emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting the Centre’s objective of achieving a Naxal-free India by the target date of March 2026.
