Bhubaneswar: A captivating art and photography exhibition, “Charana Chitra,” was held at a private mandap in Bomikhal, Bhubaneswar, on Wednesday. Organised by ‘Tagara Architects’ in collaboration with Bansi Bilas, the event featured a book discussion on “Art and Architecture of Odisha” by Leeta Mohanty, founder of Tagara Architects.
The exhibition was graced by esteemed guests, including noted film director and former director of Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute Himansu Sekhar Khatua, Odisha State Museum Superintendent Dr. Bharati Pal, and art educator and principal of BK College of Art Chandra Sekhar Sethi. Leeta Mohanty delivered the vote of thanks, showcasing her artwork featured in the book “Art and Architecture of Odisha.”
The event also highlighted the photography of Sibasis Samal, an entrepreneur and photographer who has captured the essence of Odisha’s temples, wildlife, and everyday life. His photographs of Bhubaneswar’s temples and Khandagiri Udaygiri caves were featured in the book.
The exhibition and book discussion provided a platform for art enthusiasts to appreciate Odisha’s rich cultural heritage and architectural splendour.
