Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed 2023 batch IAS officer Ashni A L as the new Sub-Collector and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Malkangiri. The appointment comes after her return from Phase-II IAS training.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department on Saturday Ashni’s earlier appointment as Sub-Collector of Nabarangpur, announced on July 24, has been rescinded. She will now take charge as Sub-Collector in Malkangiri.
The notification further states that in exercise of powers under section 14(4) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, Ashni A L has been designated as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Malkangiri subdivision.
