Puri: A team of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has begun an inspection of the Garba Griha, Nata Mandap and Jagamohan of the Srimandir.
Every year a technical team is set up which inspects the temple during Rath Yatra when the Lords are on their annual sojourn. In the wake of COVID-19, this year, all the members will not be able to come because some of them are above 70 years old.
However, the team, with a limited number of technical experts will begin inspection of the 12th-century shrine, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Dr Krishna Kumar Kumar had said yesterday.
