Athmallik MLA Ramesh Sai Joins BJP

Bhubaneswar: A day after resigning from the BJD, Athmallik MLA Ramesh Chandra Sai today joined the BJP at a party event in Athmalik in Angul district.

Sai joined the saffron camp in the presence of Union Education Minister abd BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Sambalpur Dharmendra Pradhan at Athmallik.

Sai had resigned from the conch party on Thursday after he was denied ticket for Assembly elections in the state. The regional party has fielded Nalinikant Pradhan from Athmalik.

Sai had been elected to State Assembly in 2019 on a BJD ticket from Athamallik constituency in Angul district.
