Cuttack: An auto-rickshaw driver died in a scuffle with a fellow driver at Chandi chhak under Lalbag police limits in Cuttack on Thursday.
According to police, Md Roshan of Sati Chaura and Md Sarif of Khatbin Sahi engaged in a heated argument which took an ugly turn later. Both them engaged in a bloody fight in which Roshan suffered critical injuries. He was taken to the SCB Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Lalbag police reached the spot and launched an investigation. The body was seized for post-mortem, police said.
Both auto-rickshaws have been seized. The investigation is underway, police added.
The reason of their conflict remains unclear.
