**Cuttack:** Principal of SCB Medical College and Hospital Dr Siddharth Das on Saturday informed that health conditions of Babula Panda, the grandson of freedom fighter Laxmi Indira Panda, has improved.
Speaking to the media persons, Dr Das said, “His condition has drastically improved. He is mentally sound and conscious today. He may undergo dialysis if necessary.”
Earlier, Babula, who went missing on April 16, was traced to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Thursday evening.
Babula was undergoing treatment at the private hospital for kidney ailments, police said. The cops found him after eleven days of his mysterious disappearance from Bhubaneswar railway station.
Later in the day, he was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital.
Notably, Babula went missing since April 16 after Prime Minister Narendra Modi felicitated his parents at a function in Raj Bhavan. He had come to Bhubaneswar with father Surendra Panda and mother Sujata Panda for the felicitation programme.
