Bhubaneswar: The Baha’i community of Bhubaneswar is celebrating the birth anniversary of Baha’u’llah, who is considered as ‘The Divine Educator’ who was summoned by God in the middle of the 19th century to deliver a new revelation to humanity.
Bahá’u’lláh, meaning the “Glory of God”, has outlined a framework for the development of a global civilization through his writings which takes into account both the spiritual and material dimensions of human life.
For four decades thousands of verses, letters and books flowed from His pen. suffered 40 years of imprisonment, torture and exile for bringing God’s latest message to humanity.
Today, His life and mission are becoming increasingly well-known across the planet. Millions of people are learning to apply His teachings to their individual and collective lives for the betterment of the world.
The followers of Baha’u’llah are called Baha’is. The Baha’i community of Bhubaneswar is celebrating the Birth Anniversary of Baha’u’llah by observing devotionals and prayer sessions in the families.
The Baha’i children attend the Moral Classes and the Junior youth empowerment program and enhance their moral capabilities for participating in a spiritual transformation of themselves and the society.
