Mayurbhanj: Baishinga police on Monday recovered the injured body of a youth near Khairbani Street on National Highway No 18 under Baishinga police station of Mayourbhanj district.
The deceased has been identified as Vadu aka Gudu, a resident of Kairbani area.
According to reports, Vadu was seen roaming around the local market till late night on Sunday. He had parked his two-wheeler the Puja Mandap and it remained there throughout the night. Police suspect that Vadu left his bike there and went with someone else. Around 11.00 pm he called his mother saying that he will return home soon. However, his mother got the news that Vadu’s dead body was found on the side of the national highway and the police had kept it in Baishinga Hospital.
Seeing the deep wound on Vadu’s head and profuse bleeding, police suspect that he may have been murdered.
Vadu was married less than four years back and has a two-year-old son.
