Balasore Woman Goes Missing In Maha Kumbh Mela

Bhubaneswar: A woman from Tinidesa village under Nilagiri police limits in Balasore district, has gone missing from the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on January 27.

The missing woman has been Damayanti Padhi, a resident of Tinidesa village. She had travelled to Prayagraj with her family members and villagers to take a holy dip in the Ganges.

However, on January 29, when the family went to take a holy dip on January 29, Damayanti went missing. Despite searching extensively, her family members couldn’t find her.

Finding no other go, the family member of Padhi filed a complaint at a local police station in Prayagraj and informed other family members back home.

Meanwhile, the family has urged the state government to help them trace Damayanti. The Nilagiri police have also been informed, and an investigation is underway.
