Balasore Youth Abhishek Parida Makes It To ISRO

Balasore: Abhishek Parida of Ajodhya village in Nilagiri block of Balasore district has made the State proud by landing a job at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Son of Dr. Gajendra Prasad Parida and Meenakshi Nalini Rout, Abhishek is a Postgraduate in Mechanical Systems Design from Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar).

After completing his primary education at his native village and his high school in Balasore, Abhishek dreamed of becoming a scientist. He completed his Mechanical engineering at Parala Maharaja Engineering College in Berhampur and later got admission into IIT Bhubaneswar.

Abhishek had received the Institute Silver Medals for the best academic performance in the year 2019 in the presence of ISRO Chairman K. Sivan. He later worked as an Analyst in a Multinational Company, however, had not left behind his dream to join ISRO.

He appeared for an examination in March this year and finally got selected into ISRO on June 2. Balasore MP and Union Minister Pratap Sarangi felicitated Abhishek on Wednesday and wished him well for his future.
