Balasore: Sabyasachi Patra has topped in the Plus II Science Examinations conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, the results of which were published earlier in the day today.
Sabyasachi who was studying at Jhadeswar Residential College in Balasore district has topped the exam by securing 571 marks.
A native of Chasakhand village of Dakshin Narasinghpur panchayat under Oupada block of Balasore district Sabyasachi comes from a humble background.
While his father Basudev Patra is a farmer, his mother is an Anganwadi Worker.
“The credit for my success goes to God, the dedication of my parents, my teachers and my own effort. I did self-study of a minimum of 10 hours,”
said Sabyasachi replying to queries from reporters.
Sabyasachi said that he aims to become a doctor in the future and is preparing for NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).
