Bhubaneswar: The 150th anniversary of Cuttack’s iconic Bali Yatra festival is set to conclude today with a spectacular cultural evening featuring renowned Bollywood singer Shreya Ghoshal. The singer has arrived in Bhubaneswar and is set to mesmerize the audience with her soulful voice in the evening in Cuttack’s Bali Yatra.
Shreya Ghoshal had earlier expressed her excitement about performing at the event on social media, saying it’s a great opportunity to connect with her fans in Cuttack. As the festival’s final day is expected to draw large crowds, District Collector has appealed to the public to maintain order and decorum.
The event is being held at the Baishnab Pani Manch, a stage permanently constructed at Baliyatra ground for cultural programmes during the week-long trade fair and arrangements have been made to screen the performance on LED screens in the surrounding areas. Traffic restrictions have been put in place to manage the expected crowd, and visitors are advised to plan accordingly.
The Cuttack Bali Yatra, a 150-year-old tradition, is a significant cultural event that attracts thousands of visitors every year. Today’s finale is expected to be a grand affair, with Shreya Ghoshal’s performance being the highlight of the evening.
