Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) Managing Director, Balwant Singh joined as a panelist at the Odisha Skill Conclave 2023, scheduled at the Kalinga Stadium here from 20th April to 22nd April.
He said that there are a lot of opportunities for skill development in Odisha’s mining sector and OMC is unlocking new possibilities through skilling.
Singh highlighted OMC’s collaboration with DTET, Odisha to set up Mining Skill Academy at Koira, partnership with ORMAS for placement linked skill development training, skill enhancement programme & engagement with educational institutes to upskill OMC’s workforce.
