Bhubaneswar: A fire broke out at an Axis Bank ATM kiosk near Asureswar Subhadra Mahatab College under the Nischintakoili police station in Cuttack district, on Tuesday.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire was first noticed by local residents, who immediately informed the police and fire department. A team of police officials and firefighters rushed to the spot and managed to extinguish the flames.
Although the exact cause of the fire is still unknown, preliminary investigations suggest that it may have been caused by an electrical short circuit.
Nischintakoili police have launched an investigation into the incident and are reviewing CCTV footage to determine the cause of the fire. The exact reason behind the fire will be ascertained after the police investigation.
