Bankalagi Niti: Darshan Of Deities In Puri’s Jagannath Temple Closed For 4 Hours Today

Bhubaneswar: Darshan of Lord Jagannath and his siblings Devi Subhadra and Lord Balabhadra in Puri’s Srimandir will be prohibited for four hours between 5.00 pm and 9.00 pm on Wednesday after the second Vogamandap Vog as Shri Vigrahaman Bankalagi Nitti will be performed in the inner sanctum of the temple.

On this occasion, the Holy Trinity will be adorned with natural colours made from hingula (black) and harital (white).

Though the darshan of the deities will be closed, devotees will be allowed to enter the temple premises, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) said.
