Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths launched searches at four locations of Jitendra Kumar Panda, Additional Tahasildar of Barang tahasil, on allegations of accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The searches are being conducted at a triple-storeyed building in Gopaluni Nagar, another triple-storeyed building in Badagada Brit Colony, a double-storeyed building in Sanapalla in Khordha, and his office chamber at Barang Tahasil, Cuttack.
The searches are being led by four Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP), seven Inspectors, one Sub-Inspector, eight Assistant Sub-Inspectors, and other supporting staff, with search warrants issued by Special Vigilance Judge in Bhubaneswar.
The searches are ongoing, and further reports are expected to follow.
