**Bhubaneswar:** In a shocking incident on the outskirts of the capital city here, a suspicious young father has allegedly crushed his new-born girl child to death.
The grief-stricken grandfather Gangan Bhoi in his strong reactions has sought life imprisonment for his cruel son.
Gagan himself filed FIR against his savage son Biswa Pratap Bhoi (24) and got him arrested and brought the granddaughter for autopsy at the Capital Hospital here.
The deplorable occurrence has taken place in Padanpada village under Balipatna police limits in the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Twin City Commissionerate Police limits.
According to the grandfather of the new-born girl child, she was born after three days of marriage.
The couple fell in love and in course of their intimate relationship the beloved got pregnant following which her lover ditched her and had been to jail earlier.
Gagan himself took initiative and forced his son to marry the girl of nearby Srirampur Bhoi Sahi village.
As already been conceived, she gave birth to the girl child after three days of their marriage while the suspicious father refused to accept her as his daughter and very often quarreled and thrashed his wife.
Following such a misunderstanding and scuffle, the mother of the girl child used to stay with her parents.
Later, she was back at her in-law’s house and the child used to stay under the custody of her grandmother.
Today (Friday) at about 5 am, the heartless father amazingly sought to carry her daughter and astoundingly crushed her to death.
