Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded an average rainfall of 16.7 mm during the last 24 hours.
According to the regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) here, the average rainfall recorded from September 1 to 50.1 mm against the September monthly average of 231.9 mm.
While Belaguntha block in Ganjam district recorded the highest rainfall of 142.4 mm in the last 24 hours, three blocks in the state received more than 100 mm rainfall during the period.
These three blocks are Belaguntha (142.4 mm) in the Ganjam district, Suliapada (132.0 mm), and Khunta (103.0 mm) in the Mayurbhanj district.
