Bhadrak Remains Tense, ‘Shoot At Sight’ Order Issued
**Bhadrak**: Shoot-at-sight orders have been issued in Bhadrak on Friday as the town witnessed fresh violence following a peace committee meeting among heads of religious groups reportedly failed.
15 platoons of police force have been deployed in the town and patrolling is on at various places to control the situation.
Protests, roadblocks, arson reported at many places and section 144 imposed in Dhamnagar as well.
Home Secretary Asit Tripathy, DGP K B Singh, ADG (Law & Order) and RDC (Central) have rushed to Bhadrak to take of the situation.
According to Bhadrak Superintendent of Police Dilip Das, despite section 144 CrPC in place, the district administration this evening imposed curfew to curb fresh outbreak of violence.
