Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident here on Friday, Bharatnatyam Guru, Sree Ganeshan from Malaysia, died during an event at Bhanja Kala Mandap.
Ganeshan fell unconscious while lighting a lamp before the second phase of the dance performance on stage, on the third day of his visit.
He was rushed to Capital Hospital, where the Bharatnatyam exponent was declared dead. He was in Bhubaneswar for a three-day dance programme at Bhanja Kala Mandap.
