Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday launched search operations at three locations related to Kishore Chandra Sahu, Assistant Engineer, General Public Health (GPH) section, at Bhawanipatna in Kalahandi district on the allegations of possessing disproportionate assets to his known sources of income.
The simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by one Additional SP, 3 DSPs, 4 Inspectors, and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhawanipatna, at the following places in Kalahandi district:
- A residential house of Kishore Chandra Sahu situated at Mandarbagichapada, Bhawanipatna Town in Kalahandi.
- Parental residential house of Sahu situated at Balbaspur village under Narla block in Kalahandi.
- The office chamber of Sahu at GPH Section office, Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi district.
During the raids at locations linked to Sahu, the Vigilance sleuths unearthed one triple-storeyed building of 10,500 sq ft area with an approximate valuation of Rs 1.10 crore, two land plots, bank and insurance deposits over Rs 1.03 crore, cash to the tune of Rs 2.65 lakh, gold approximate 235 gm along with other assets.
