Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has suspended Bhograi Tahasildar Pushpashree Sandil with immediate effect.
According to an official notification, a disciplinary proceeding against Sandil is contemplated, leading to her suspension.
Sandil, who was serving as Tahasildar of Bhograi in Balasore district, has been directed to report to the Collectorate in Balasore. She will not be allowed to leave the headquarters without prior permission from the Collector, Balasore.
During her suspension, Sandil will be entitled to subsistence allowance as per Rule-90 of the Odisha Service Code. The suspension order has been issued by the Governor of Odisha, exercising powers conferred under the OCS (CC&A) Rules, 1962.
