**Bhubaneswar:** A counter of Bikalananda Kar’s Rasagola was inaugurated by Additional Chief Secretary of MSME Department, Laxmi Narayan Gupta, at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) today.
Opening of the counter of Salepur’s famous Rasagola at an international airport for the first time will provide ‘Odisha Rasagola’ an identity at national and international level, said Gupta.
The counter will remain open 24 hours a day informed Prashant Kar, the owner of Bikalanand Kar Sweets at Salepur, the largest rasagola outlet in the State.
For the time being, different varieties of Rasagolas and other delicacies including 15 types of namkeen snacks will be available at the counter. Various other kinds of sweets will soon find their place in the counter, said Kar.
BPIA Director Suresh Chandra Hota and other dignitaries including businessmen, researcher and scientist were present on the occasion.
