Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning, predicting light rain or thunderstorms with lightning at isolated spots across eight districts in the next three hours.
Going by the nowcast warning issued at 1:10pm, districts under the alert include Kendrapara, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Gajapati and Kandhamal.
Residents are advised to stay alert and monitor updates as conditions could worsen.
