Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions seem to have made life miserable for Bhubaneswar residents with temperature showing no sign of relief.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the city recorded a minimum temperature of 10.2°C last night, making it a chilly morning for residents. The temperature at 5:30 am was recorded at 11.4°C today, a significant drop from previous days.
The temperature has been plummeting over the past few days, with the mercury dropping significantly. According to data, the temperature was recorded at 18.6°C on January 4, 18°C on January 5, 15.4°C on January 6, and 11.4°C on January 7 (today), at 5:30 am. This steady decline in temperature has left residents bundling up to brave the cold.
According to the regional weather office, Bhubaneswar’s temperature is dropping due to the influence of cold and dry air, making it even chillier.
