Bhubaneswar: The counting of votes for the Bhubaneswar Municipal Election was delayed by over two hours on Saturday.
The situation had been tense on the premises of BJB College last evening following a clash after an attempted intrusion into the strong room there.
Three persons had been injured in the clash. The police had resorted to mild baton-charge to disperse the crowd which had become unruly and violent.
Khurda Collector, after taking stock of the situation personally, had said that the strong room is safe and secured.
