Bhubaneswar Paramedical Institute Director Arrested In Sexual Harassment Case

**Bhubaneswar:** The director of Indira Institute of Medical Science & Research (IIMSR) at Bharatpur was arrested by the cops of Khandagiri police station today morning after sexual harassment charges were leveled against him by the girl students.

Reporetdly on Saturday, female students pursuing Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) ransacked the institute and brought sexual and mental harassment charges against the Director Kodanda Dhara Sahu.

As per allegations, Sahu was operating the institute without proper recognition. He had lured them for joining the institute on pretext of better job opportunities but was actually harassing them, said the girls.

Sahu has allegedly forced around 60 girls to stay in a building consisting of only four rooms including the kitchen. He has even not provided identity cards to the students who have already completed 10 months in the institute.

On Saturday evening, the girls had filed a complaint at Khandagiri police station following which the cops arrested him today.

Police have seized several documents and have sealed institute’s office as well.
