Bhubaneswar: The Covid-19 daily case count in the city recorded 1303 today, a day after dropping to below 1,000 on Sunday, according to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With one more fatality due to Covid-19 reported from the city during the last 24 hours, the death toll stands at 1,111.
The city has an active caseload of 10,404.
With 1644 recuperating from Covid-19 in the city during the last 24 hours, the city’s tally of recoveries stands at 1,34,211.
Out of the 1303 new Covid-19 cases reported from the city, 1,251 are local contact cases.
The majority of local contact cases were reported from Nayapalli (118), Patia (122), Khandagiri (125), and CS Pur (106).
