Bhubaneswar: As many as 176 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Bhubaneswar on Thursday. According to the data shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), all these were local contact cases.
According to BMC’s report, the maximum 31 cases were detected in Patia while 20 cases and 19 cases were reported from Chandrasekharpur and Nayapali areas respectively.
Bhubaneswar has reported more than 1.58 lakh cases during the last two years and four months, along with 1,193 COVID deaths. At present there are 633 active cases in the city.
