Bhubaneswar: A total of 283 new Covid-19 positive cases and 21 fatalities have been reported from the city in the last 24 hours, according to the latest Coronavirus update shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The city as on date has 1,192 active cases and the cumulative death toll has mounted to 573.
Meanwhile, 234 Covid patients have recovered from the disease during the last 24 hours. Cumulatively, a total of 93,097 persons have recovered from Covid in the city.
Out of the fresh cases detected in the city, 222 are local contact cases and the remaining 61 are quarantine cases.
