Bhubaneswar: The daily case count of Covid-19 positives in the city went for a jump by 97.24% over the previous day with the detection of 357 new positives during the last 24 hours, as per an update shared by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today.
According to the civic body the city has reported 13 fatalities due to Covid-19 taking the cumulative death toll to 666.
Further, the city as on date has 1494 active cases, while 253 Covid patients have recovered from the disease during the last 24 hours.
Out of the newly reported Covid positive cases from the city, 282 are local contact cases and the remaining 75 are quarantine cases.
