Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning for Bhubaneswar, indicating a likelihood of light rain or thunderstorms with lightning at a few places over the capital city during the next two hours.
The nowcast warning was issued at 10:30am and it will remain active till 12:30pm.
“Light rain or thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at a few places over capital city Bhubaneswar during next two hours. People are advised to keep a watch on the weather for worsening conditions and be ready to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strike”, read the IMD alert.
