Bhubaneswar Unit-1 Daily Market To Reopen From Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: The Unit-1 daily vegetable market will re-open from Wednesday as the Traders Association called off the strike.

Association President Gayadhar Swain said the discussion with the BMC is successful. BMC has agreed to address parking issues and other problems of the traders.

A team of BMC today visited the Unit 1 market and promised to fulfill the demands, swain said.

The association had called for a strike after their demands for a parking lot, drainage system, and eviction of illegal encroachment remained unheeded.
