Bhubaneswar: Earning laurels for Odisha owing to their laudable entrepreneurship in the field of ‘Climate Change & Clean Energy’, 23-year-old twin sisters Nishita and Nikita Baliarsingh from the smart city here have carved a niche in the coveted list of Forbes India 30 Under 30 this year.
Reported to be the co-founders, CEO and COO of Nexus Power, the Baliarsingh sisters are building an EV (electric vehicle) future beyond lithium-ion batteries, states the web page of Forbes India 30 Under 30.
The twins are among the list of “young achievers in a tough year as they took on the challenges of a relentless year head on”.
As per reports, the twin sisters are on their entrepreneurial pursuit of inventing bioorganic batteries for the EVs from protein of crop residue. If they come out successful in their venture, the bioorganic battery can get fully charged soon and can also enhance the mileage of the EV.
