Bhubaneswar: Open Learning Systems (OLS), Bhubaneswar’s leading voluntary sector organization, has launched the city’s first and only inclusive summer camp, aimed at providing a platform for children and adults of all ages, abilities, and needs to engage in fun, learning, and inclusive activities.
The camp commenced with an enthusiastic group of twelve participants, who have begun training in swimming and skating. The swimming sessions are led by internationally acclaimed coach Arpita Mohapatra and Special Olympian Sarita Routray, while the skating sessions are being conducted by Sasmita Mohapatra, Sports Director, SOB-Odisha.
There are still limited seats available in both disciplines.
Registrations are currently open for the next batch, starting June 1, which will offer a wide range of group activities including yoga, aerobics, dance and music, and art and craft. Additionally, one-on-one training is available in swimming and skating, providing individualized attention by expert trainers.
All sessions are held in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment, designed to promote learning through creative and adaptive methods tailored to individual abilities. Beyond physical development, the camp also focuses on enhancing confidence, teamwork, and social skills.
