Sundargarh: Two bike-borne assailants shot a ration dealer Shankar Sahu at Tamada, under Chandiposh police station limits in Sundargarh after he refused their demand for money at gunpoint.
According to eyewitness reports, the assailants fired three rounds, with a bullet hitting Sahu’s chest, leaving him critically injured.
A customer at Sahu’s shop was also shot in the leg. The attackers fled towards Rourkela, leaving bullet casings behind.
Sahu’s brother took him to the nearest hospital for treatment.
