**Bhubaneswar:** In a fatal accident, one person killed and another got seriously injured after their motorcycle collided with a truck on the CRP flyover here on Tuesday night.
The deceased, identified as Sameer Rout was a resident of Biribati area in Cuttack city. While Sameer died on the spot, his friend was rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack city in a critical condition.
According to the reports, Sameer and his friend were returning to Cuttack city from Bhubaneswar when he lost control over his vehicle and hit against the running truck from behind.
Meanwhile, locals blocked the flyover following delayed arrival of the PCR van to the spot. The mob grew violent after they found the PCR driver allegedly drunk. Later, the blockade was withdrawn after Nayapalli IIC reached the spot and pacified the enraged people.
