Sundargarh: A man was killed when a trailer truck overturned and hit the bike he was travelling in near Parijat Park in Mahipani village under Sundargarh Town Police limits, on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Yogeshwar Kalo.
According to reports, the mishap took place when Yogeshwar was going to drop his daughter to school along with his wife.
On their way to school, a trailer truck lost its control, overturned, and crashed into them. Yogeshwar died on the spot, while his wife and daughter were injured in the accident.
Local residents quickly took them to the nearest hospital and informed the police.
Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and started investigating the accident.
