Balasore: A youth working as a security guard with a construction company here died due to a road accident on NH 16 today evening. The deceased was identified as Niranjan Behera of Baunsabania village under Nilagiri police limits. He was knocked down by an unidentified vehicle when Behera was heading to work place.
The youth succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The accident led to a road blockade by angry locals. The highway was blocked for quite some time till the police managed to clear the blockade. A case of unnatural death has been registered and body of the deceased was sent for autopsy.
