Jajpur: In a tragic accident, a young biker was killed after his bike hit a tree on the roadside near Kapila Chhak under Binjharpur police limits in Jajpur district today.
Two youths who were pillion riding with the deceased have sustained critical injuries.
According to reports, the accident occurred when these youths who were speeding on a bike after playing Holi crashed into a tree on the roadside near Kapila Chhak.
The deceased youth has been identified as Chandan Das of Pritipur area. The injured youths have been identified as Dhaneswar Behera and Dibyajyoti Mohanty.
The injured youths were initially rushed to the nearest hospital. However, as their health condition deteriorated they have been shifted to SCB Medical College & Hospital.
