Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik Monday released the list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. Patnaik released the party’s seventh list via a video message.
The BJD has dropped four sitting MLAs, including Subrat Tarai (Raghunathpali), Seemarani Nayak (Hindol), Raghunandan Das (Balikuda-Ersama) and Sunanda Das (Bari). The names of the candidates and constituencies are:
- Raghunathpali: Archana Rekha Behera
- Balikuda Ersma: Sarada Prasanna Jena
- Bari: Bishwaranjan Mallik
- Kakatpur: Tusarkanti Behera
- Hindol: Mahesh Sahu
- Bangiriposhi: Ranjita Marandi
