BJD, BJP Organise Massive Protests In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Both the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are taking out massive protests in Bhubaneswar on Thursday over various issues.

Activists of the youth and student’s wing of the BJD have taken out a massive bike rally targeting the Centre against the frequent hike in fuel prices and unemployment. They are also staging dharna at the Power House Square.

While the BJD is targeting the Centre over the frequent hike in fuel prices and unemployment, the saffron party is targeting the State Government over the Mamita Meher murder case.

The BJP is planning to gherao the Odisha Assembly over the Mamita Meher murder case. The saffron party has been demanding the dismissal of Minister of State (Home) Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged involvement in the case.
