Bhubaneswar: After undergoing medical treatment in Mumbai, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik is all set to return to Odisha today. He is scheduled to arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport at 11 am.
As per reports, Naveen Patnaik had travelled to Mumbai on June 20 for cervical spondylosis treatment and underwent surgery at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on June 22. He was discharged from the hospital on July 7 after a successful surgery.
During his absence, BJD senior vice-president Debi Prasad Mishra was handling the party’s organisational responsibilities.
Naveen Patnaik had issued a notice, instructing the party’s political affairs committee to manage the party’s affairs in his absence.
