Bhubaneswar: A delegation of the Biju Janata Dal on Tuesday met senior officials at the State Election Commission and demanded the arrest of a senior BJP leader and his supporters in connection with a murder.
According to the BJD, the BJP workers have killed BJD supporter Pratap Chandra Rout in Dhamnagar (Bhadrak) on Monday. The BJD delegation also drew the attention of the SEC towards massive electoral violence in Odisha during the panchayat elections.
