Bhubaneswar: The ruling Biju Janata Dal on Wednesday announced the fifth list of Assembly candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections.
Apart from announcing the names of candidates for several constituencies, the regional party swapped its nominees in Sambalpur and Rairakhol.
Going by the latest information, Prasanna Acharya, whose name was earlier announced for Sambalpur, will now contest from Rairakhol. Similarly, Rohit Pujari, who was earlier nominated for Rairakhol, will contest from Sambalpur.
Here is the list of candidates and their constituencies declared by the BJD:
- Chitrokonda: Laxmipriya Nayak
- Padampur: Barsha Singh Bariha
- Kuchinda: Rajendra Chatria
- Deogarh: Arundhati Devi
- Angul: Sanjukta Singh
- Nimapada: Dilip Nayak
- Sanakhemundi: Geetanjali Devi
- Jeypore: Indira Nanda
- Rairakhol: Prasanna Acharya
- Sambalpur: Rohit Pujari
- Kantabanji: Naveen Patnaik
